i've decided i don't like the name xanni. i only ever picked it cause it's sort of derived from my real name...oh well. in any case, from now on, i'm gonna use "rocket" for any and all modeling endeavors that require a fake name. it'll go with my tattoo if i ever have the money to get it....

the new pope is going to give me nightmares. his face is so skeezy and apparently he was in the hitler youth...and he also appears to stand against everything i find good and sacred. but mostly, LOOK HOW SKEEZY HE LOOKS!!!!
shudder. I liked ole JP...yeah, we didn't agree on much, but he was old and obnoxious in a cute, gentle old man way.

I didn't get any work done today. I have a lot. I did, however, decide that mechanical bull riding is my new favorite hobby. too bad bars in oregon won't even let me in. sigh. it does come curiously naturally to me compared to most physical activities (though i'm not exactly "good" at it). fuckin makes your hand and thighs hurt, too.

Man, I'm on the Oregon coast, it's lovely. There was a rainbow earlier and I took a bunch of pictures of other people's dogs. Heh. Gotta get moving on the homework, though.

Man. So last night I saw the Shins. They were good, I love them pretty well, and there were bubbles, and smoke, and bubbles filled with smoke, and this fake snowy foamy stuff...it was pretty damn cool.
Except there was this guy right in front of me with his yucky girlyfriend...you know the type, ugly, scrawny, greasy, grungy clothes that don't fit, no bra, poorly formed ponytail...and the guy, while far too attractive for her, was obviously some sort of freakin idiot because he kept bouncing around to the wrong freakin rhythm and lifting his girlfriend up so we couldn't fuckin see, over and over...at one point he was actually bouncing her off the floor then up over his head. they had about a six foot diameter space around them because they kept moving around and no one wanted to accidently touch them. and if he wasn't lifting her up, they were making out, in a horrible display of yucklove.
but the shins were lovely. the lead singer doesn't talk much, it's weird, the keyboardist stands in the middle and does all the talking and charisma stuff. and i always feel like they should be hot, but really they're just sorta meh looking. the lead singer looks kind of like kevin spacey. i forgive them, though, cause they're awesome.
I like how i start the posts out using proper capitalization...and then it just deteriorates somewhere halfway through. Oh well.
